Nando’s has shared the opening date for a new restaurant in Watford, more than a year after the branch was first announced.
Back in May 2023, the peri-peri chicken chain said it was “getting everything ready for the new site” at the former Chiquito unit in Woodside Leisure Park.
Set to be known as 'Nando’s Watford – Garston', the location will be opening on Tuesday, August 27.

Work to get it ready included dividing it into two, with Starbucks having opened in the smaller part on June 26, after Nando’s found the space to be too large for its needs.
The interior design is set to include hand-woven lampshades, terracotta wall tiles, and oak table tops.
The branch will be the third Nando’s location in the town, alongside two in the town centre.
Wagamama opened at the former Frankie & Benny’s unit on the other side of Hollywood Bowl at Woodside Leisure Park.
