Are your summer plans all ready? If you have then you can't forget about visiting a sunflower field and enjoying all the beautiful sights and smells.
Although Watford might not be home to fields upon fields of gorgeous flowers, there are many slightly further afield that you can visit.
Sunflowers bloom in August, meaning you have plenty of time to make plans and visit one of the five fields we've listed.
From Tulley's Farm in Sussex to Garsons Farm in Surrey, these are the best sunflowers within the range of Watford you can visit.

Tulley's Farm, Sussex
Tulley's Farm is a very popular destination for many, best known for hosting their annual Halloween event.
Just over an hour from Watford by car, or two hours by train, every year Tulley's Farm is filled with endless beautiful sunflowers.
Across the farm, there are 25 photo spots including selfie locations that make the perfect spot for a memory.
You can also get food and drinks at Potting Shed bar and Bentley;s BBQ Shack, tickets cost £8.

Garsons Farm, Surrey
Also in Surrey, Garsons Farm has three sunflower fields over 150 acres and you get to pick your own sunflowers.
Tickets are £5 for adults or £2 for children, and you don't just get sunflowers at Garsons, there are also 75 variations of fruit, vegetables and plants ready to pick.
It takes less than an hour to get there by car or nearly two hours by train, and you can also enjoy a meal at the farm with a restaurant on site.

Cotswold Farm Park, Gloucestershire
If you're prepared for a longer drive, you can visit Cotswold Farm Park in Gloucestershire which takes just over two hours to get to.
Open to the public in August, the farm has a field of sunflowers and there are also viewing points including a bridge so you can see above the sunflowers.
There are also many photo spots across the farm with pathways through flowers and you can enjoy some food at Ox Shed Cafe.

The Patch MK, Milton Keynes
The Patch MK in Milton Keynes is a great place for a day out, with flower fields, mazes and many attractions to enjoy.
You can also jump on the barrel train and enjoy a tour of the grounds including the endless flowers and you can even play mini golf or take rides.
The farm is around an hour and a half away by car but it's well worth the visit if not just for the Lost World Corn Maze with hidden dinosaurs below.

Meopham PYO, Kent
Open every weekend, Meopham is just under an hour and a half away and has fields of sunflowers, fruits and vegetables that you can buy in the farm shop.
Alongside the gorgeous sunflower fields, the farm also has the White Finch tea room that serves tea, coffee and cake.
If you're travelling by car, it will take just under an hour and a half or by train, a little over two hours.
