A brand new games venue is set to open offering a 18-hole crazy golf course, VR games and over 50 arcade machines.
Photos have revealed inside the Adventure Leisure’s latest Mr Mulligans branch, which will launch in Jarman Square, Hemel Hempstead, on July 25.
Built across the former Frankie & Benny’s, Chiquito and Bella Italia units, the 15,000 square foot games centre will feature an 18-hole crazy golf course with obstacles based on famous brands such as Monopoly, Lego, and Hot Wheels.
There will also be the chain’s largest arcade zone with over 50 machines, as well as virtual reality games, electro-darts, ping pong, pool and shuffleboard.
Adventure Leisure chief operating officer Stephen Brown said, “We can’t wait to bring Mulligans to the heart of Hemel Hempstead this July.
“The venue designs are incredible, and the arcade zones and contactless cards are an exciting first for the brand.
“Mulligans Hemel is going to be the place to be this summer holidays, with some exciting early discounts to help welcome the local community.”
The branch, which will create 25 jobs, is split into a cocktail bar, restaurant and dedicated areas for birthday parties and group bookings.
It will be Adventure Leisure’s 13th site across the UK, joining venues in Basildon, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cheltenham, Newcastle, Norwich, Nottingham, Sidcup, Stevenage, Tonbridge, Woking, Worcester and two branches in Milton Keynes.
The Bella Italia restaurant shut in 2020 alongside 61 branches nationwide after the chain’s owner Casual Dining Group went into administration.
The Chiquito and Frankie & Benny's branches were also among dozens of locations to shut doors in March 2020 when their owners The Restaurant Group, also went into administration.
