Cocktails and bottomless brunch are coming to Kings Langley’s latest bistro as it looks to make the most out of summer.

Matilda’s opened in High Street on June 1 and is now planning to expand its drinks offering after its first month of business.

Owner Sam Cowham said: “We’ve got all the licences come through now so I’m looking forward to doing evenings and serving alcohol from next Monday.

“It’s been a decent first month,” the 38-year-old added. “We’ve had good feedback on the food and everyone has been really complimentary.”

Named after his four-year-old daughter, the bistro serves a range of hot and cold food from Italian club sandwiches to raw salmon poke bowl.

The eatery has already had rave reviews as one resident said it was their favourite eatery in Kings Langley in a Facebook recommendation.

They added: “Delicious made to order fresh food, service with a smile and warm welcome, what’s not to like! Recommended.”
