Cocktails and bottomless brunch coming to Matilda's

Matilda’s opened in High Street on June 1 and is now planning to expand its drinks offering after its first month of business.

Owner Sam Cowham said: “We’ve got all the licences come through now so I’m looking forward to doing evenings and serving alcohol from next Monday.

“It’s been a decent first month,” the 38-year-old added. “We’ve had good feedback on the food and everyone has been really complimentary.”

Matilda's opened in High Street on June 1. (Image: Sam Cowham) The opening hours have now been extended until 8pm Monday to Wednesday and 11pm from Thursday to Saturday, while there will be a bottomless brunch from 11am to 4pm on Sundays.

Named after his four-year-old daughter, the bistro serves a range of hot and cold food from Italian club sandwiches to raw salmon poke bowl.

The eatery has already had rave reviews as one resident said it was their favourite eatery in Kings Langley in a Facebook recommendation.

They added: “Delicious made to order fresh food, service with a smile and warm welcome, what’s not to like! Recommended.”
