Heineken has pushed back the reopening date for a refurbished Watford pub.
On Tuesday (June 11), the company confirmed that the Estcourt Arms would soon be serving drinks again for the first time since being boarded up in November.
The relaunch was set for this weekend but a spokesperson for Heineken subsidiary Star Pubs & Bars said that is no longer the case in an update today (June 14).

The St Johns Road pub is now expected to be up and running “by next Friday”.
As patrons wait to be let back inside, Star Pubs & Bars has also shared a pair of images of the refurbished interior.
The Estcourt Arms' landlords left in November last year, stating that “situations behind the scenes being out of our hands” and personal reasons made it “the right time for us to step away from the bar”.
Star Pubs & Bars refurbished the location and began a search for a new operator to take it over in January.
The pub will be run by a licensee on a short-term agreement, with the pub company still marketing it to prospective long-term operators.
