Watford brothers Jas and Raj have explained what sets their new eatery apart after a successful first week of trading.
Wingers started serving its wings, tenders, burgers, wraps and loaded fries in The Parade, last Wednesday (May 29).
So far it has proved popular, it did not launch to queues around the block but has apparently quickly found some dedicated lunchtime diners.

“We’ve had customers come back several times and we haven’t been open for more than a week,” said co-franchisee Jas Dhillon. “I think customers can really tell the difference with the quality of our food.”
His brother and business partner, Raj, added: “People might look at us and think we are just another chicken shop like everyone else, but I think we are very different.”
He highlighted that the businesses uses fresh meat and prepares its sauces and garnishes in-house.
The brothers live in Watford and work in financial services but say that when they first tasted Wingers’ chicken at the flagship store in Birmingham they knew they “had to bring this to the people of Watford”.
Wingers will be holding a launch event featuring live entertainment and a 50 per cent discount from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday (June 8). The first 50 customers on the day will eat for free.
