Big Macs and McFlurries could be coming to Rickmansworth as McDonald's has submitted plans for a new branch.
The global fast food chain has lodged an application to convert the former M&Co unit in High Street as planning documents revealed the chain's iconic logo in the top corner.
If approved, it would be the chain's first branch in the Three Rivers district, joining the existing six outlets in and around Watford.
The McDonald's would have a dining area with space for 60 people to the front of the unit, with a kitchen and backrooms to the rear of the building and on the first-floor.

The M&Co in Rickmansworth High Street was included in the list of locations under threat when the company publicly announced its collapse in December 2022.
It was listed for £7,083 pcm or £85,000 per year after the clothes shop closed on April 21 last year when the fashion chain entered administration, but has sat vacant since.
A spokesperson for McDonald's said: “We have submitted a planning application to open a new restaurant next year on a site that is currently vacant in Rickmansworth, bringing significant investment and up to 120 full and part-time jobs to the local area.
"We are working together with the local council to address any concerns.”
