Watford’s latest chicken shop has officially opened today.
Wingers has come to The Parade with the new branch now serving wings, tenders, burgers, wraps, and loaded fries to High Street customers.
The chain’s newest branch moved from ‘coming soon’ to ‘open’ at 11am (May 29) and shared a video showing the inside and inviting customers to “come on in” at around 2pm.
“Hello Watford,” the Instagram post said. “Wingers Watford is now officially open!
“Wing your way down for the best buttermilk fried chicken in town.”

The chicken shop is in the unit previously occupied by Take a Wok, next to Wenzel’s the Bakers, and can seat 32 people. The family-run chain, which first launched in Lichfield in 2022, was set up by Amran and Dylan Sunner and dad Bill and will be open from 11am to 10pm.
It specialises in fried chicken and wings, sides, and milkshakes.
In December last year, Wingers signed a deal for five investors to open new locations within a “West London and Thames Valley” territory that included Watford.
