The charity has not confirmed where it will be reopening in Watford yet, but a location is being lined up and the relaunch is expected around mid-June.
“Stay tuned for further details,” the notice said. “Kindly redirect your donations to our Hemel Hempstead shop at 160 Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1BA.
“We appreciate your understanding and support.”
It is understood that the land where the existing store is has been bought by a developer.
As well as operating the charity shops to stock good-quality second-hand items for mums-to-be, babies, and young children, Alternatives Watford also offers emotional and practical support to anyone facing pregnancy-related challenges including counselling services.
