A Watford pub has unveiled its new “stunning” beer garden after transforming a “bland, grey outside area”.
The Oddfellows, in Fearnley Street, reopened after an extended closure and interior refurbishment in December last year.
Since then, operator Thomas Leveridge has spent £7,000 to improve the outside in time for summer.

“The Oddfellows Watford has one of the largest sun facing beer gardens in Watford,” he said.
“We have turned this space from a bland grey outside area with no cover, to a stunning, greener garden with big-top stretched tent.”
Three 65- to 70-inch televisions have also been installed outside, which The Oddfellows says gives it the second most live sport TVs on offer of any venue in Watford.
The new garden is open all-day-every-day and the outdoor tent has been made available for private hire for events and birthdays.
Since reopening, the pub has aimed to offer a sports-bar feel with live TVs, a wide range of channels, and a games room upstairs.
