A Watford FC matchday pub is set to open full time after securing new management.
Having been put on the market in January, The Red Lion in Vicarage Road is set to have a new tenant take over, property advisor Christie & Co announced today (April 25).
Despite only opening for Watford FC home games, exclusively servicing fans, The Red Lion has a licence to open between 11am and 11.30pm Monday to Wednesday, 11am to 12.30am Thursday to Saturday, and 12pm to 11pm on Sundays.

Christie & Co’s David Wilson, who brokered the new lease, said: “We’re delighted to announce The Red Lion will enjoy a fresh lease of life under new owners who intend to open the business full time to the local community.
“The asking price for this property was met on the day we went to market, so we are delighted to have secured such a quick sale for our client.
"This is another example of how much demand there is for leasehold opportunities across London and the surrounding areas.”
Previous owner Jeremy Lai thanked Christie & Co for its proactive support during the sale.
