Thai food and a new look have come to a popular Watford pub as it introduced a new dining menu to acclaim from customers.
The Dome Bar, in St Albans Road, has not been serving meals since its kitchen closed around 18 months ago.
However, this all changed on Friday (April 12) when Real Thai Cooking’s Nichapa Thosuanjit, who goes by the nickname Apple, brought it back into action.

- Serial shoplifter stole more than £600 worth of alcohol, baby milk and food
The wider bar was also refurbished while the location was shut between April 6 and April 12.
Apple, who has previously offered takeaway and pop-up location meals as well as cooking classes, said: “People loved it. Since we first reopened on Friday it has been so busy.
“Its just something different, they said they were excited about the menu because there were so many things to try.”
The kitchen’s motto is “bringing Bangkok to Watford” and Apple says she is looking forward to introducing more residents to its speciality dish, khao soi.
The full menu is available online.
Apple added that the next step for the restaurant will be adding a set menu for lunches from next week.
Pub landlord Stuart added: “We’re looking forward to new customers coming in and trying our new food.”
