A Greggs in Rickmansworth is one step closer to opening after plans were approved.
The proposals for a branch in High Street were green-lit by Three Rivers District Council yesterday (April 2) after they were submitted in December.
It will sit between the Fujifilm and FoneSmart shops, in a former HSBC unit which closed in 2017.
It is not yet known when the branch will be open, although works must begin within three years.

- Lower High Street offices could become studio apartments
It follows the recent launch of the chain’s latest shop in the Watford area after it opened in the new business park in Faraday Way last weekend.
Greggs has joined the £25 million estate, which was completed last December, creating 12 local jobs.
The 74-acre business park is aimed at attracting companies from high-value sectors, particularly film and TV, life sciences, and manufacturing to the town.
Greggs has been contacted for more information.
