Wingstop UK has been on a spree of new openings this year and is set to add the former Honest Burgers unit in Market Street, Watford, to its portfolio.
The UK franchisee for the US brand, Lemon Pepper Holdings, announced 15 new target towns and cities in January, with Watford on the list, before the unit was repainted and marked with Wingstop branding last month.

Lemon Pepper Holdings co-founder Tom Grogan said: “Hot off the heels of our successful opening in Leeds on Monday, we are excited to launch in Watford this bank holiday weekend, offering hungry diners the best-tasting wings in the business.
“We can’t wait to open more sites across the UK this year - the two openings this week are just the start.”
The first 100 customers through the doors tomorrow morning (March 30) will receive free wings and the chance to try Wingstop’s new ‘Voodoo loaded fries’, which launched on Monday.
The unit, which used to be a post office, had been occupied by burger chain Honest Burgers since April 2022, but closed on January 25 “due to a change in customer demand in the area”.
