A Watford vegan fast food restaurant is now boarded up just six months after it launched.
Ready Burger in High Street is listed as permanently closed on Google, despite opening in the former Bill’s Restaurant unit in September.

It's not clear why or when exactly the restaurant shut, but the Crouch End location is also listed as closed and chain's website has been taken down.
Previously dubbed “the future of food” by Watford BID, Ready Burger was founded in May 2021 and offered vegan fast food at affordable prices to encourage meat eaters to make the switch.
This included a 99p vegan burger that was introduced for Veganuary last year but became a permanent feature due to its popularity.
All the food served was 100% plant-based with options for individual burgers or meal deals that include a drink and chips.
The venue was more than just a restaurant as it also featured games including table tennis, air hockey and retro gaming consoles.
Watford Town Centre BID said it did not any information it could share regarding the closure and Ready Burger was contacted for more information.
