With guitars and other instruments helping to decorate the walls and a jukebox tucked away in the corner, these pictures are sure to bring back memories for anyone who enjoyed a meal or a night out at this restaurant and bar in Watford.
Calendars was a popular destination in the 1980s and 1990s for anyone who wanted to get away from the town centre to enjoy a bite to eat and some entertainment.
Located in St Albans Road, Garston, a Watford Observer photographer visited Calendars in June 1984 to capture these images for an advertising feature to help promote the business.

Although it was closed at the time, they show how the bar and restaurant areas looked and the array of decorations that added to its appeal in the eyes of many people.
