A popular fashion brand has confirmed the date it will be moving into its new multi-floor Watford shop.
After its existing store in Watford’s shopping centre enjoyed a “strong performance” during 2023, Zara decided to boost its presence in the town and will be moving into a new double-size location on Thursday, February 22.
The current atria Watford store will be closed from February 19, ahead of its move to the new location opposite H&M.

Atria owners SGS and asset managers Global Mutual confirmed that the new 43,000-square-foot shop would be replacing Zara’s existing 18,000-square-foot branch in October last year.
The retailer has signed a 15-year lease on the unit, which spans across the upper mall and mezzanine floors.
Making the announcement Global Mutual’s Steve Gray said: “We’re really excited that ZARA has decided to upsize and enhance its offer here at atria Watford.
“This is a brand our shoppers love – and it will act as a real footfall driver as we enter the new year.
“The decision reflects the strong performance of ZARA’s existing store at the centre, as well as the strong relationship we’ve built with the team.”
The Spanish fashion chain stocks its own house-brand of women’s, men’s, and kids’ clothing, shoes, and accessories.
