Cassiobury Park’s new café to replace Daisy’s in the Park has had its opening date confirmed.
A “grand opening” launch event is lined up for Cedar Cafe at the Cassiobury Hub building, by the splash pools, on March 1 this year.
It will be run by London-based festival and public event catering company, EMA Catering, and will also provide refreshments at the splash pools.

The event is set to start at 10am and offer complimentary tea, coffee, and cake for attendees on the first day.
When EMA Catering was confirmed as the business taking over, director Ermine Mani said: “We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our newest venture in Cassiobury Park.
“We are aware of how important the park is to the people of Watford. We are so excited about providing delicious food alongside a strong inclusive community vibe.”
The building was previously run by Daisy’s in the Park. It then closed after Café in the Park, which has the same owners, opened in the Tea Pavilion building on the other side of the park.
