These Watford eateries were all rated 5/5 for food hygiene in January, is your favourite among them?
The latest food hygiene reports have revealed that six Watford restaurants, one takeaway and one pub all received “very good” food hygiene ratings this month.
Environmental Health Officers from Watford Borough Council visited the restaurants without notice and graded them on three categories: hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and the management of food safety.
The scores are added together to give a score between zero and five, with the lowest meaning "urgent improvement necessary" and the highest "very good".
The following restaurants and cafés in Watford all received 5/5 upon inspection:
- Ocean Bells Coffee Company, Intu Watford 133 High Street, Watford, inspected on January 10.
- Iberia Lounge, The Coach House, 83 - 85 Queens Road, Watford, inspected on January 15.
