A chain has closed its Watford town centre branch due to “to a change in customer demand in the area”.
Honest Burgers has confirmed it shut down its Market Street location yesterday (January 25) after first opening there in April 2022.
The Brixton-founded brand set itself apart by making everything itself with fresh ingredients and meat coming from its own butchery.

An Honest Burgers spokesperson said: “We have recently closed the doors of our Watford restaurant.
“Although Honest Burgers continues to trade well, we have chosen to close this particular site due to a change in customer demand in the area.
“This doesn’t affect plans to open new Honest Burgers in London and across the country in the future.”
They added: “We’d like to thank our customers in Watford and hope that you'll be able to enjoy a homemade burger and chips in one of our 30 London restaurants soon, or find us further afield.
“We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing team in Watford, who we are working with to see if they’d like to relocate to one of our other sites.”
