Oktoberfest will take place in Cassiobury Park for the first time later this year.
Scheduled for Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5, the Hertfordshire event aims to bring a slice of German culture to Watford.
Founded by Barbican Events, the festivities will include live Oompah bands, karaoke, authentic German beer and gourmet food.
There's also an axe throwing competition and customary costume contest.
Andrew Dempsey, event manager, said: "We are excited to bring the Oktoberfest to Watford this year for the very first time.
"Oktoberfest guests will experience a bigger and better Oktoberfest as we are always adding more value to our events year on year.
"Last year we hosted the biggest Oktoberfest session in the UK and we expect the momentum to continue in Hertfordshire's biggest town.
"Our events sell out every year so we advise everyone to register for pre-sale tickets."
Founders Barbican Events are known for hosting Oktoberfest sessions across the UK, featuring state-of-the-art production, live Oompah bands, huge LED screens, 10,000 litre beer tanks and immersive Oktoberfest games.
Pre-sale tickets will be available soon and can be found on the Herts Oktoberfest website at hertsoktoberfest.com/register-now
