They’ve supported artists including Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Robbie Williams and Simple Minds, were the last British band to perform at the original Wembley Stadium and in 2000 enjoyed a global smash with a song that remains instantly recognisable to many people as soon as the first few notes are played.
Toploader enjoyed the height of their commercial success in the early noughties thanks to 'Dancing in the Moonlight', which peaked at No. 7 in the UK charts, and their debut album 'Onka’s Big Moka'.
The group were in Watford on December 1, 2002 for a concert at the Colosseum and a Watford Observer photographer was present to capture these images of their performance 21 years ago.
