The date the next pint will be pulled at a popular pub and music venue has been confirmed, after it closed for two months.
When The Horns in Watford shut last month, the venue’s owner, Stonegate Group, was quick to confirm that it still planned to get it back up and running as a pub.
The Hempstead Road boozer and live music venue’s reopening was slightly delayed by situations behind the scenes, but it has been confirmed this afternoon (December 19) that it will officially reopen this Friday (December 22) at 4pm.

A Facebook post announcing the date, from the pub’s account, added: “We still have more exciting plans to make upgrades in the new year so we can provide you lovely people with Watford’s premier live music venue but in the meantime, come down, enjoy some great music, and some even better times.”
The Horns closed on October 21 this year as its operator left citing the business becoming “totally unsustainable”.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that The Horns’ former landlord Denis Cook would be returning to line up the live acts.
“I’ve been appointed to be a weekend and evening manager with a view to re-establishing the music there,” the musician said. “I’d like to get back to the fun times, great service, and friendly atmosphere we always had down there.”
