Ed Sheeran watched on with Sir Elton John as his club beat Watford last night before gatecrashing the manger’s interview.
As the Hornets suffered a 2-1 loss to Ipswich Town at Vicarage Road yesterday (December 12), fans were able to spot two very famous faces initially keeping a low profile in the directors’ box.
However, once Suffolk native and Ipswich fan Sheeran joined manager Kieran McKenna for the post-match interview, he made his attendance widely known.

After offering congratulations and hugging McKenna he said: “I sat next to Elton today…he…he didn’t like it.”
Sheeran also revealed that the pair of singers had discussed whether he would also one day get his name on a stand, with Sir Elton admitting he “only got his five years ago”.
“So you’ve got a few years to do now,” McKenna replied.
