Wet weather and the “surprise” nature limited Coca-Cola Truck Tour attendance in Watford, but there was still plenty of fun.
The truck visited Tesco Extra in Lower High Street on the same day as last year yesterday (December 10), with the same winter market and host of fun activities.
Unfortunately, guests were not able to enjoy the reasonable weather of 2022 and the heavy rainfall dissuaded some locals, with one describing staff “outnumbering” the attendees when they arrived.

Attendees who told the Watford Observer about their experience were split between celebrating the “delightful, impromptu celebration” and admitting they just wanted to stop in quickly before getting out of the rain.
The tour's stops and dates are announced as it makes its way through the country, meaning some only found out it was in town once it was already in place, while others missed out entirely before it left at 6pm.
Florence Wheatley, from Coca-Cola, said: “Coca-Cola has been spreading Christmas cheer for decades and, this year, we’ve added even more exciting elements to make it as magical and merry as possible."
The truck is partnered with Neighbourly, a giving platform that provides support to communities across the UK.
"Together, we want to inspire year-round acts of goodwill and truly make a difference in all local communities," the company's Great Britain brand manager added.
