One of Watford’s favourite venues has a new operator, and patrons will not have long to wait.
After The Horns closed last month, the venue’s owner, Stonegate Group, was quick to confirm that it still planned to get it back up and running as a pub.
It has now shared that a new operator has been found and, after a changeover today (November 27), the pub company said the reopening date will be “within two weeks”.

Fans can apparently expect The Horns Watford Facebook page to come back online soon with a ticking clock to reopening confirming the exact date.
The Hempstead Road music venue had its final night before closing on October 21, and it was suggested at start of this month that it may be open again by November 30.
Internal changes have been made during the closure.
Stonegate operates several pubs in the town including The Cother Arms, The Partridge, Prince George, Walkabout, and Rifle Volunteer.
When it closed last month, the manager Jane Giles thanked all its “bands, friends, and customers for all your help fundraisers and gigs over the years”.
A message, posted to The Horns' social media when it closed, added: “We’ve tried our hardest to get us through this, but sadly we can’t.”
