Atria Watford has enjoyed a strong uptake for its retail units ahead of Christmas.
When planning your festive shop this year it is worth remembering that there are some new additions you will not have had access to last year.
Speaking on two new businesses announced for the shopping centre on Friday (November 24), Steve Gray, from atria Watford managers Global Mutual, said: “The centre has seen strong leasing activity in recent months and ProCook and F.Hinds will further diversify our tenant mix – offering great gift options as we approach Christmas.
“We’re expecting a busy festive season and can't wait for our visitors to explore the new stores.”
Rituals
The beauty and wellbeing brand Rituals opened on October 19. It sells home decorations, cosmetics, and wellness products,
UK and Ireland managing director Penny Grivea said: “The new Rituals store will help customers to achieve a sense of wellbeing by finding the perfect products that will help them to balance the body, mind and soul.”
Poundland
Poundland has revealed that it will open on December 2 in the former atria Watford John Lewis unit.
The existing Watford location, in the high street, will be moved into it and is set to shut on December 1.
F. Hinds
Expected to open on December 6, jeweller F. Hinds will be arriving next to Krispy Kreme in a lower mall unit. The signing of a 10-year lease was confirmed this week.
Atria Watford confirmed that it will stock an extensive selection of quality diamond, gold, and silver jewellery as well as watches from designer brands.
ProCook
Kitchen supply shop ProCook opened on Thursday (November 23) in the lower mall level.
ProCook retail director Andy Kerr said: “We firmly believe in the value of physical retail stores, so we’re thrilled to open our 60th ProCook store at atria Watford.
“Ahead of the festive season, our team are dedicated to bringing a fantastic in-store experience at our Watford store to anyone who loves cooking at home.”
Dunelm
In May, Dunelm revealed it will be moving into the upper mall level of the former John Lewis atria Watford unit.
After a long wait, the store is set to begin trading on December 5.
