A Watford restaurant says it owes everything to its customers after receiving a Good Food Award.
Tarboush Watford, in Market Street, has been recognised for the quality of its food, customer service, and value for money with the Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes.
Owner Kayes Ibrahim said: “We would like to say to the people who come here ‘thank you’.
“We wouldn’t be where we are without them.”

The Good Food Award prize is based on a combination of votes from members of the public, a mystery review, and the venue's delivery ratings on platforms such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
“We do good food and whoever comes to our restaurant is a guest in our home," Mr Ibrahim added. "Whether you come to the restaurant or our home it’s the same.”
Staff had known about the award for a while now but were asked to keep quiet until the official announcement on Monday (November 13).
One member of staff at the restaurant, which has been in the town for 13 years, told theWatford Observer that Tarboush is like a family.
It serves authentic Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine and has four different dining areas for customers to enjoy.
