A pub with a hotel attached near Chorleywood is nearing the end of its three-month renovation.
The Bedford Arms in Latimer Road, Chenies, has been undergoing changes since shutting in the middle of August, with plans to reopen on Saturday, November 25. The hotel rooms are set to be available again five days later.
It has been given a new look, with a “brand new” kitchen and a complete redesign of the pub space, according to general manager Dave Croft.
The hotel aspect of the building has also been given a new look as part of the “biggest project yet” as all the rooms have been redesigned and updated.
He added: “I am so excited for all of our customers to see the fully refurbished Bedford Arms.
"We closed in the middle of August and this is one of the biggest projects we have done this year as a company, refurbishing all external and trading areas including our kitchen and beautiful bedrooms, and when it's finished it will be absolutely stunning.”
The hotel aspect boasts 15 rooms and is family and dog-friendly.
It is just under three weeks away from the reopening with a “great event”, Mr Croft said, and there will also be a 'Meet the Landlord' event on November 29.
He added: “As the new general manager, I am super proud to be a part of this with my team.
“Our focus is for the Bedford Arms to deliver fantastic hospitality, whether you are having a meal, staying with us, out walking with the dog, or celebrating a special occasion."
