Watford residents were treated to some early Christmas spirit as a new festive advert was filmed in the town centre.
Walkers Crisps is believed to have been filming in the The Parade, near Café De Lisboa, yesterday evening (October 18).
It was being done as the rain came down, with onlookers able to see the tree lights switched on to help with the ambience.
There was also a Christmas tree stall, various fairy lights, but no sign of Gary Lineker.
Watford BID said: "They selected this location as an ideal Christmas scene, and Watford Council along with Watford Town Centre BID were happy to accommodate."
Café De Lisboa stayed open until 9.30pm so their cast would not get soaking wet and had coffee and natas throughout the evening.
The previous advert was created in collaboration with Comic Relief and how the brand supported mental wellbeing programmes by donating £2 million across 2021 and 2022.
It is yet to be confirmed when the finished advert will be on television.
The Christmas lights switch-on will be happening in The Parade on Saturday, November 18, from 2pm to 6pm, along with a range of festive activities.
