Following the closure of a high street retailer readers have had their say on what they want in the new unit.
Yesterday (October 12) it was announced that the commercial real estate company CBRE has been appointed to sell the Watford Wilko’s lease.
It comes after the shop in the High Street closed on Tuesday, September 26, along with 36 other Wilko stores on the same day.

When the Watford Observer asked people what they would like to see there next, a variety of answers crept up on Facebook.
The most popular answers were calls from people asking for a Home Bargains store to move in.
Other suggestions included a Poundbakery, Heron Foods, Farm Foods, a Waitrose and even an arts centre.
Several people backed one person’s idea for the unit to be an indoor market.
One person said: “Our market is so out the way, back in the heart of town would be so much better.”
Others said they were against a bar or restaurant being brought in.
