A new chicken shop is set to open in a popular high street.
An eatery called 3 Chickens will be opening "soon" in 154 St Albans Road, Watford, in the former Pizzeria Locale unit.
Its front has had signs placed over its windows with the wording “Coming soon. Something Peri-fect is coming. Now recruiting.”
When the picture, which was taken on October 3, was shared online of the new eatery it was met with disappointment from some people.
One person said: “Just what St Albans Road needs. Another peri peri chicken shop. Must be close to double figures now.”
Another penned: “Peri peri, burgers, it is getting silly. I believe in choice, but this isn’t a real choice.”

One woman asked: “We could do with a few healthy eating shops. Is there such a thing as a healthy takeaway?”
However, others were in favour on the new eatery, with one person saying: “Grilled chicken is actually better than most foods out there.”
Another added: “Well at least it’s not more flats.”
The shop has been contacted for an opening date.
