A popular sportswear retailer has confirmed it will be opening in Watford’s shopping centre very soon.
Footasylum has told the Watford Observer that its 6,000 square foot atria Watford unit is set to open in early- to mid-October.
Although focused on trainers, the business sells a variety of sportswear and streetwear including brands such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Monterrain, and The North Face.

It also stocks more premium brands such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Alessandro Zavetti.
The Watford store had been announced in April and at the time it was expected to open in the third quarter of this year.
Hoarding was spotted outside the planned location in August, with signs letting customers know the location is “coming soon”. The October opening window was confirmed yesterday (September 14).
Footasylum, which first opened in 2006, has more than 60 stores in the UK. It also confirmed that a new store had opened at Lakeside Shopping Centre, Essex, yesterday.
