Filming in a field in Chipperfield is rumoured to be the third addition to a popular children’s film series.
Rumours are circulating that the filming happening near the bridal path from Langleybury to Chipperfield is linked to the Paddington films.
People are speculating on Facebook that it is the next installment, ‘Paddington In Peru’, with one person claiming they had "dealt with the studios a couple weeks back and had a walk over Langleybury/Bucks Hill Model Farm on Monday and it’s all being filmed there too".
Another contributor, who claimed to have spoken to staff, added: "Yep it's Paddington and something else nearer to the Langley side."
"It’s Paddington in Peru," said someone else, adding "it’s been an invasion for residents up by a Model Farm sadly".
Passersby have been able to see piles of what looks like hay, sand and cranes holding blue boards which could be to do with the background or lighting.
Paddington In Peru featuring the marmalade sandwich-loving bear and being produced by Studiocanal and Hey Day Films started filming this summer and is expected to be on the big sreen in 2024.
Details of the plot are yet to be shared, however the title suggests we may see the bear, voiced by Ben Whishaw, travel to Peru.
It has been confirmed that Hugh Bonneville and Julie Walters will be returning to the screen, but Sally Hawkins will be stepping down from her role of Mrs Brown.
Dougal Wilson is the director and this will be his feature directorial debut.
