The bakery said: “We will be opening our first neighbourhood bakery in Radlett on 2nd September 2023.
“Serving Gail’s artisan sourdough breads, pastries, sandwiches, and cakes alongside our specialty house blend coffee.”
A planning application was recently approved to alter the shop front to include the Gail’s sign and for it to be an “illuminated fascia sign”.
The bakery, come coffee shop, will be open from Mondays to Saturdays, 7am to 6pm and on Sundays from 7.30am to 6pm.
At the end of June, the company placed Gail’s signs in the premises calling for people to apply to work there, but an opening date had yet to be revealed.
Gail’s, which already has a store in St Albans, first opened in London’s Hampstead High Street in 2005.
