From Elton John to Slade, Chuck Berry to Gloria Gaynor, some of the biggest names in music and entertainment performed on this stage in a nightclub remembered fondly by many in Watford and beyond to this day.
The building is now home to Pryzm, it started club life as Top Rank, but in the 1970s and 80s it was called Baileys - and it was hugely popular.
A Watford Observer photographer visited the club on July 3, 1975 to take these exterior and interior snaps.
With the words Baileys Disco Cabaret above the front door, the signs show that American soul singer Jimmy Helms was performing that week, while coming up was a performance by the legendary Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen.
Although our snapper only took a couple of pictures that day, we hope seeing the signs, the lamps on the tables and those plastic chairs bring back plenty of good memories.
