A new breakfast, brunch and Mediterranean-style restaurant has opened in Watford.
Cloud7 in The Quarters, St Albans Road, welcomed customers for the first time on Monday, August 21.
Co-owner Izak Loy said: “We only advertised through social media, but it was still a really good opening.”
Mr Loy has two other branches of the restaurant in Edgware and Finchley, which opened in the last two years.
He decided to have his third premises in Watford as his brother owns a pizza restaurant in the area, which Mr Loy has got to know and like.

Cloud7, which opens from 9am to 11pm, serves a variety of food, ranging from pancakes to smashed burgers and Korean dishes.
Mr Loy said: “Our main food is Mediterranean dishes. I own a gym in Hornsey and there are lots of Mediterranean restaurants round there. I would go in and try the food and I was mesmerised by it.
“I researched for about two years before I opened the first Cloud7.”
Having already owned pizza restaurants he decided to open Cloud7 to expand his portfolio and “bring the Mediterranean flavour” into other areas.
He added: “We take pride in the food we serve. The meals are made from scratch, we don’t use frozen products. We even smoke our own salmon, make our own Hollandaise sauce from scratch every morning.”
The restaurant has been designed for the “selfie generation”, he said.
Mr Loy added: “I put a lot of effort into every detail of the restaurant. We take care of our customers, it's important that they have a good experience.
“People eat with their eyes first, then they taste.
“With the decoration, we have a selfie area, we have made it 'Instagramable' and somewhere for children to enjoy.”
Of the three branches, Watford’s Cloud7 is the biggest - seating 90 people - and has a bar area as well.
“We have employed people who live locally, and we can’t wait to have more customers from Watford,” said Mr Loy.
