A sportswear chain’s Watford store is taking shape ahead of its opening day.
Footasylum, which first opened in 2006, has more than 60 stores in the UK and announced an atria Watford store will be on its way in the third quarter of this year.
Hoarding has gone up outside the unit and an advert for a store manager appeared online yesterday (August 11).
- Popular TV show is looking for new house hunters
- Harry Potter Studio Tour named UK's most in demand tourist attraction
- Hornets chairman updates fans on striker search and Asprilla speculation
According to the advert the “brand new space” is currently being renovated and will open later on in the year.
The store is listed as “coming soon”, as reflected on the hoarding signs, but there has been no more information on an opening date since Footasylum’s arrival in the town was first confirmed in April.
When it does arrive it appears from the atria Watford website that it will be open from 11am to 5pm on a Sunday and 9am to 6pm every other day.
The unit is 6,000 square feet, about the size of two tennis courts.
Although focused on trainers, the business sells a variety of sportswear and streetwear including brands such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Monterrain, and The North Face.
It also includes more premium brands such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Alessandro Zavetti.
