One of Britain’s top music stars of the 1980s - Paul Young - is returning to Watford next year to mark the 40th anniversary of the album that made him a household name.
Paul Young broke into the big time 40 years ago when No Parlez went to number one and spawned much-loved hits like Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home).
More success followed with the number one album The Secret Of Association and the worldwide smash Everytime You Go Away, not forgetting an appearance at Live Aid and more.
Now, on the 40th anniversary of No Parlez, he’s releasing a new record and publishing his memoir; both called Behind The Lens.
The 67-year-old, who performed at Watford Colosseum in May 2019, is set to be back on stage in town at the Palace Theatre on Friday, March 29, 2024 as part of tour of the UK where he’ll sing, meet songs and tell stories about his career.
Tickets, starting at £30, will go on general sale from 10am tomorrow from the theatre’s website at https://watfordpalacetheatre.co.uk/
