TK Maxx has opened a new store in Watford and shared an inside look for those not able to make it down yet.
The branch, in atria Watford’s former Next unit, opened at 10am today (July 27) after first being announced in January this year.
A spokesperson said: “Today marks the opening of the new TK Maxx store in atria Watford shopping centre, offering great quality and savings on big-brand fashion, accessories, beauty and homeware all in one place.”
Photos from today’s opening event show the busy ribbon cutting and a long queue to be among the store’s first customers, as well as the interior and exterior of the store.
The company, which has its headquarters in Clarendon Road, signed a 10-year lease on the 30,557 sq ft unit (just under half a football pitch), across the three floors.

When the new store was announced, a TK Maxx spokesperson said: “We chose Watford as our European home almost 30 years ago, so we know the town’s savvy shoppers love big brands and great style.
“We’ve been working round the clock to secure a fabulous new location in the heart of the town.”
