TK Maxx has now confirmed its Century Retail Park store will NOT be closing after earlier saying it will shut next week.
After TK Maxx announced it is opening in atria Watford's former Next unit next Thursday (July 27), the brand said it would be relocating its existing store to the space.
The Century Retail Park site was apparently set to shut on July 27, and existing workers would be given the opportunity to transfer over as part of the move.

However, the retailer has now confirmed it was a communications blunder and the store will in fact remain open. Full statement to follow.
TK Maxx, which has its headquarters in Clarendon Road, has signed a 10-year lease on the atria unit, which is still set to open as planned.
The store will span 30,557 sq ft in total (just under half a football pitch), across the three floors and is set to open at 10am on its first day.
