We can be creatures of habit us humans and head back to our favourite places to eat time and time again.
But we have had several new restaurants open this year in Watford that might be worth trying out.
Here we look at some of the newly opened eateries and what they have to offer.

Our Brother's
The Portuguese and Brazilian restaurant in Market Street opened in January.
It serves an array of dishes including, Alheira, a traditional Portuguese sausage, made from a combination of meats, spices, and bread. It is served with a fried egg, fries and rice.
There are several desserts to choose from including acai, a traditional Brazilian fruit used to form of a smoothie bowl with fruit, nuts and chocolate.
Yi Fang Taiwanese
The bubble tea business opened in Atria Watford’s unit 19 in May.
Yi Fang’s menu features drinks such as “pure tea”, fruit tea, fresh milk tea, "mudflip" drinks, and a variety of specialties including vegan options.
Meriden Kitchen
Another May opening, and the café in York Way was pleased to announce it attracted lots of customers.
Owner Battal Ustek told the Watford Observer: “No one has been complaining. They like it.
“They love to have a little café in their area and we are very happy. It has been so good so far.”
The menu offers several items, including cooked breakfasts and salads.
Haute Dolci
A restaurant serving luxury desserts and brunches opened in Atria Watford in June.
Haute Dolci's menu features a variety of treats including waffles, crêpes, pancakes, ice cream, macaroons, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and cakes.
It also offers cocktails, milkshakes, coffees, and a vegan menu.
Rio Grande Steak House
Opened in June, the restaurant’s owners said it was paying homage to their Brazilian heritage.
Ana Langame, who works at the restaurant in Vicarage Road, and is the daughter of one of the owners, said: “This is food that I have eaten ever since I was a child.
“It’s family recipes from grandmas passed down to the mums.
“The food has always been with us.”
