A new shop will be moving into the unit that once housed Paperchase in Atria Watford.
Melbe Home, a homeware and gift store, has a sign in the shop window that they are also looking for new staff.
The unit’s front window is covered with paper while the store is being kitted out for the new tenant.
Although a specific opening date has yet to be announced, they confirmed they are “opening soon”.
The company already has stores in St Albans and Hemel Hempstead and is looking for “friendly, kind and passionate colleagues who are familiar with retail” to join its Watford store.
Melbe Home has made a name for itself by selling products of authentic Turkish and bohemian styles.

All products are sourced from Turkey for the “best outcome,” but the company’s design team is based in the UK.
The previous occupier of the unit was Paperchase, a chain that closed when the company had fallen into administration after it failed to find any buyers for the business.
At the end of January, it was revealed that the brand and intellectual property were to be bought by Tesco, but the stationery chain’s 106 stores and workforce were not part of the deal.
