A joiner has built a unique new Watford escape room after his first gathered all 5/5 reviews.
Benn Warren and his family are long-time escape room enthusiasts who turned their passion into a business when they opened Goldrush at Enigma Rooms Watford, in the High Street, in December last year.
In May, the new Chapel room opened and has been described as “exceptional”, “very impressive”, and “phenomenal” by customers.

The 41-year-old former joiner used his skills and love of the hobby to build the rooms with his team. He said: “Settling into Watford has been great, we’ve had help from our landlords and Watford BID, the people are so nice. It’s been a great location.”
With both rooms open, Enigma Rooms Watford now holds 33 5/5 reviews on Google, with one 4/5, and 45 5/5 reviews on TripAdvisor with no lower scores.
Benn added: “We’ve had about 50 people who came back saying they had loved Goldrush. Almost all of them said Chapel is even better."
“It’s definitely harder than Goldrush,” he added. “We’ve made it look and feel as realistic as possible. It has that wow factor when you walk in.”
He added that axe-throwing is set to be the next addition to the site.
