Patients and staff have been able to enjoy a new café as it opened inside Watford General Hospital today.
Peabodys Coffee had already opened in Watford General Hospital in January inside a temporary site, but with renovations complete it has now begun trading in a new space with a much larger seating area.
Located at the main reception, the larger café held a welcome event for staff to sample the coffee and cakes from 7am this morning (May 17).

Peabodys MD Claudia Mascino said: “Peabodys Coffee is really passionate about bringing delicious coffee and food into healthcare settings using fresh, healthy and sustainable ingredients."
She added: “We have been working with the NHS since 1997 and to date have eight outlets operating at some of the busiest hospitals, with more planned this year.
“With more planned openings before the end of the year. We are incredibly excited about the new opening at Watford General Hospital.”
As well as hot drinks and cakes, the café will also offer freshly blended smoothies, ciabattas, salads, and snacks.
