A bubble tea business fully opened in atria Watford over the weekend after a soft launch.
In April, the Watford Observer reported on plans to bring Yi Fang to the shopping centre’s unit 19, next to Warhammer, and this month customers have been welcomed for the first time.
There was a soft launch with a limited menu from May 8 before everything fully opened on Saturday (May 13).

Bubble tea includes a variety of flavoured fruit teas and milk teas served with chewy tapioca balls.
Yi Fang’s menu features drinks such as “pure tea”, fruit tea, fresh milk tea, "mudflip" drinks, and a variety of specialties including vegan options.
Hot food such as minced pork and chicken curry, as well as cakes and other treats are also available in store.
An early shopper, Esther, described the food as “tasty and satisfying” adding that she “couldn’t get enough” of the Taiwanese-style tea.
As the bubble tea trend continues to sweep the town, Yi Fang, which has branches across the UK, joins Mooboo Watford, Teddy Bear Bubble Tea Watford, Bubble King, and Bubbleology Watford that have all opened since 2019.
