Now's your chance to be a star of the stage by auditioning for Watford's pantomime Cinderella.

Open auditions for Watford Palace Theatre's 2023 show are being held this month.

They take place on Tuesday May 9, Wednesday May 10 and Friday May 12.

A theatre spokesperson said: "You do not need to have had accredited training or to have professional representation in order to attend – we want to meet as many enthusiastic, talented performers from our local area as possible."

For those who are selected, pantomime rehearsals start on November 6 and the production runs from November 30 to December 31. 

All applicants for this open-call must:

  • be strong all-rounders in acting, singing, and dancing
  • live within Watford and the surrounding areas
  • be fully available for the production dates
  • be aged 18+

Audition spaces are limited, and priority will be given to those living within a five-mile radius of Watford.

You have until midnight on Wednesday May 3 to apply, and you'll find out by Friday May 5 if you are given an audition slot.
