A High Street shop is soon to go on the market and could be taken over by a new business.

The 69-71 The Parade unit was home to High Street Essentials before Barnardo’s took over in 2018, and is described as “a prime retail opportunity in the heart of Watford”.

The lease will be available from August 14 at a £65,000 yearly rent, via real estate agency Pearl & Coutts, and it appears the charity shop is set to shut.

The open plan ground floor has a 2,425 square foot retail sales area and the upper floor has 1,252 square feet of office space, about half and a quarter of a basketball court respectively.

The listing says it is “offered in good condition”.
