A popular sportswear chain looks set to open in atria Watford later this year amid a reported wider expansion.
Footasylum, which first opened in 2006, has more than 60 stores in the UK and is apparently preparing to open another in the third quarter of 2023.
According to Retail Gazette, it is getting ready to take over a 6,000 square foot (around the size of a basketball court) atria unit.

Footasylum most recently opened a location in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, in December last year, which is the nearest existing store for fans of the brand in Watford.
It is also being reported that the brand is planning further openings, including a larger site in Central London.
Although focused on trainers, the business sells a variety of sportswear and streetwear including brands such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Monterrain, and The North Face.
It also includes more premium brands such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfifer, and Alessandro Zavetti.
The Watford shopping centre also recently welcomed menswear brand Moss, on March 27.
The Watford Observer has contacted atria Watford for confirmation.
