Coffee shop owners are set to celebrate a successful first year having thrived despite the cost-of-living crisis.
That Little Coffee Shop in Abbots Langley has boosted its customer base thanks to being easy-going, local and innovative, according to its owners.
Bethany Barker, 25, and Mandi McSwiggan, 53, bought the business last year when it used to be called Crazy Goat.
Having both worked at the café for at least five years, the duo believe this is partly why the new venture has been so successful.
Bethany said: “Before, no-one really knew the owners, but now they know that Mandi and I run it, people are drawn to us.
“We have all the customers who used to attend but we have so many new faces as well.”
They now also offer the coffee shop for private hire for christenings, baby showers, children’s parties, wakes and family gatherings.

Sandwich platters for parties are also offered and the coffee they serve is better than ever.
Bethany is from Croxley Green while Mandi lives in Abbots Langley, and the pair think being local is another reason they are thriving.
“We are normal people," Bethany said. "We do not want a hierarchy here. We are a really friendly community coffee shop, and we know everyone in here.
“People love it here because it is calm and very approachable and they don’t feel uneasy being in here.”
Mandi added: “Mums can come in with their buggies and there is space for wheelchair users too.”
The duo, who are good friends, also believe the comradery resonates with customers.
To celebrate they will be holding a raffle. Whenever a hot drink it bought customers will be given a raffle ticket.
There are three prizes are up for grabs, including breakfast and coffee for two, lunch and coffee for two, as well as cake and coffee for two.
It ends on April 2 and the winners will be announced on April 4, which will mark a year since the shop opened.
Winners will have two weeks to collect the tickets and six months to redeem their vouchers.
